The story
Downtown Summerlin is an open-air town center in the Summerlin master-planned community on the west side of the valley, about 20 minutes from the Strip with Red Rock Canyon behind it. The shopping runs along Festival Plaza Dr and Sage Park Dr between Sahara Ave and Town Center Dr, with more in The Marketplace on Park Centre Dr.
It is where west-side locals shop: a department store, national brands, furniture showrooms and restaurants on walkable streets. The Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Las Vegas Aviators since 2019, is part of the center.
What to Expect
Macy's and Dillard's are the anchors, and Nordstrom Rack in The Marketplace sells discounted Nordstrom brands for the whole family. Along Festival Plaza Dr, Anthropologie and Apple Summerlin share 1985 Festival Plaza Dr, Free People, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch and Lululemon cover clothing, and Alo Yoga on Park Centre Dr is the brand's first off-Strip Las Vegas store. Boot Barn on Summa Dr has cowboy boots, jeans and hats.
Sephora's Beauty Studio books touch-ups, makeovers and classes online. Kendra Scott and Pandora cover jewelry, and Warby Parker has an optometrist on site. For something more serious, D&R House of Diamonds is an appointment-only jeweler upstairs in the One Summerlin office building, with CAD custom design. Bassett's showroom does custom upholstery with free design help, and Bobby Wheat Gallery is one of the few gallery spaces in the center. For kids, there's the LEGO Store and Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Best Time to Visit
Retail runs Monday to Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm, though tenant hours vary. Dillard's opens later (11am, noon on Sunday), while Macy's and Nordstrom Rack stay open until 9pm Monday to Saturday. Bobby Wheat Gallery lists hours Wednesday to Sunday only. Weekend evenings are the center's busiest time.

Start with coffee at Makers & Finders on Festival Plaza Dr, open from 8am Monday to Saturday. Walk the 1980–2115 blocks of Festival Plaza Dr for Kendra Scott, Warby Parker, Free People and Sephora, and end at Anthropologie.
Where to Eat
Makers & Finders serves specialty lattes with house-made syrups and Latin-inspired food. Fine Company is a café for coffee and a light meal, and OpenTable lists a True Food Kitchen under Summerlin. Across Charleston Blvd at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, Osteria Fiorella is the Italian option and Lucky Penny Cafe does diner-style breakfast and comfort food with outdoor seating.
