The story
Las Vegas South Premium Outlets is a climate-controlled indoor Simon outlet mall with an outdoor promenade, at 7400 Las Vegas Blvd S at Warm Springs Rd. It sits 2.5 miles south of the Strip and has more than 140 stores; from I-15, use the Blue Diamond interchange.
It is the outlet for mid-price brands and sportswear, and the indoor halls make it the one to pick on a hot day.
What to Expect
Handbags and everyday fashion lead: Coach Outlet, Kate Spade Outlet, Michael Kors Outlet (with a separate Michael Kors Mens), Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Lucky Brand Outlet and BOSS Outlet for suits and dress shirts. Sportswear is the other strength. The Nike Clearance Store and adidas Clearance Store are clearance formats rather than standard factory stores, so the discounts run deeper, and Under Armour Factory House, The North Face Outlets and Timberland Outlet are here too.
If you're flying home with more than you came with, TUMI and Samsonite both have luggage. Movado Company Store sells Movado Group watches, and Swarovski has crystal jewelry and figurines. SAS Factory Shoe Store makes comfort walking shoes. For gifts, Vegas Sports and Hockey carries Golden Knights gear, Beef Jerky Las Vegas sells dozens of flavors by weight, Brad's Toys & Collectibles has die-cast cars and vinyl figures, and XOXO Book Boutique is one of the few independent shops in the center.
Best Time to Visit
The center posts 10am to 8pm, and most stores close at 7pm on Sunday. BOSS Outlet keeps 11am to 7pm daily, Swarovski opens at noon on Sunday, and Movado stays open until 9pm Thursday to Saturday. Doors open an hour before the stores for mall walkers, a cool place to walk on a summer morning.
If You Only Have an Hour
Come in at the north end, where the Deuce stops by Columbia and Nike, and start with the Nike Clearance Store and adidas Clearance Store. Then do Coach Outlet or Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, and eat in the north food court so you don't have to cross the mall.
Where to Eat
The center has two food courts, north and south, so eat at whichever end you're shopping. Our list covers Kui Korean Grill, Stir Fry 88 and Sbarro in the food court, Ke-Tacos for tacos, and Dairy Queen / Orange Julius for soft-serve and smoothies.
